Guest guest
Hi, I tried taking sam-e a while back and kind of thought it gave me headaches. I just put two and two together from some posts I read a while back saying magnesium stearate was a trans-fat, and I know that trans-fats give me headaches/brainfog, so I read the label on the bottle, and it did have mag/stear as an ingredient. Does anyone know of any sam-e that doesn't have mag/stear? Also, kind of weighing the differences in buying online where I might get a discount, and buying from the natural foods store, where I would expect they would have quality product, is there anything I should look/lookout for when buying online re: product quality? Any experiences with this? Thanks.
Guest guest
I think it matters more that you buy reputable brand name products. It's likely that the same brands are available on-line - and - at your local health food store. In fact you're very likely to find a wider variety of supplements online. Guest guest
Pure Encapsulations do not use mg stearate labs uses vegetable source stearate which does not hurt me. Thorne is fine. Some products of davinci labs do not contain it. bw Nil Re: sam-e and magnesium stearate question. >I think it matters more that you buy reputable brand name products. > It's likely that the same brands are available on-line - and - at your > local health food store. > In fact you're very likely to find a wider variety of supplements online. > > Kendra > > On 1/2/07, j mascis <mascis_j@...> wrote: >> Hi, >> >> I tried taking sam-e a while back and kind of thought it gave me >> headaches.
