I get flulike symptoms often (and I haven't done any Herx treatment

yet). I often have headaches, sweating, nausea, low-grade fever,

muscle and joint pain, dizziness, IBS symptoms, etc. and I'll feel as

if I'm fighting something. When these symptoms occur, is my body

trying to Herx and get rid of some of the toxins? Please bare with

me. I'm trying to learn a lot of new things. Thank you for your help!

Sue, I was like this the first several months I got sick. But I was

placed on antibiotics after about 9 months because I was diagnosed

with mycoplasma infection. It took about two years before I began to

feel mostly well. But I still relapsed in about 3 months off of

antibiotics. In 2003 I was finally diagnosed with borrelia or Lyme

disease. My husband and son are also infected but they have different

symptoms and are healthier.

I did Herx or get the same symptoms you describe while on antibiotics.

Currently I have again started Herxing for the first time in years

because I am on diflucan following a treatment designed by a German

doctor named Schardt.

Is anyone else on this list using diflucan and penicillin?
