Guest guest
I read the Dr. Cheney paper about benefits of Klonopin and since I have light and noise sensitivity it was very interesting. Unfortunately the neurologist I have been to did not want to prescribe anything to me. " Cfs is no illness...you are depressive...blabla " She did not take a look into the two pages of the Centers for Disease which I brought her. I showed her the papers of Dr. Cheney but she did not want to read the abstarcts about GABA and NMDA. I explained it to her and she said " Well Mr. Huber we practise medicine, I don't know who this Dr. Cheney is but I certainly don't believe in such nonsense. " She got very emtional then and started stuttering ^^ until we both calmed done some minutes later. Dr. Cheney lists Magnesium/Taurine and Histamine Blockers as NMDA blockers and Klonopin, Neurontin, valerian root as GABA agonists. I used to take some magnesium tablets but I did not feel any change. Since I cannot get prescriptions for the other meds I'd really love to know what I could to in order to improve my light/noise sensitivity. What kind of valerian root does Dr. Cheney recommend? Is there anything else I can to in order to increase GABA or reduce NMDA? I'm looking forward to reading your answers. Greets
