Guest guest
I'm still trying to find the right combination of things to help me get to sleep. I was wondering, if you wouldn't mind, how much of each of those do you take? Are they all in pill form, or are some powder? Thank you for your help! Guest guest
SAM-e has to be enteric coated, no option. Other amino acids can be purchased as powders or capsules opened and added to fluids. I started with 200 mg SAM-e in Oct 1999 and worked up to 1600 mg/day, stayed at 1200 mg/day for a long while. Now need between 600 and 800 mg/day. Empty stomach early in the day is a must. I've posted greater detail on this list in the past. GABA is a complex including about 400 mg of GABA. l-Tryptophan on an empty stomach at bedtime, I started at 500 mg and worked up, And, of course, Magnesium!!! Some folks find _www.naturalcalm.net_ (http://www.naturalcalm.net) at bedtime helps increase the benefits of the above. Bright light early in the day and gentle exercise is also critical to sleep. mjh Posted by: " sb2boys " _sb2boys@... _ (mailto:sb2boys@...?Subject= Re:GABA%20and%205-HTP%20for%20help%20sleeping--mjh) _sb2boys _ (sb2boys) Mon Jan 1, 2007 5:19 pm (PST) I'm still trying to find the right combination of things to help me get to sleep.
