Leaky Gut and antibiotics

I have one further question for you all: if one has a leaky gut, how

can he deal with the use of antibiotics? I used an antibiotic in

June, called Humatin which is paramomicine, and I felt well for ten

days. Two days after I stopped it, I felt worse than before taking

it. Could it be that it damaged even more my poor intestine walls?

My first symptoms since I am ill are related to the intestines.

I was looking at a site on Crohn disease, where children and adults

have tremendous problems assimilating nutrients because of the poor

conditions of their gut and intestine walls. Strangely, there is a

theraphy among the other which includes the use of Flagyl and Cipro

together. The idea behind it is that probably the problem is caused

by bacterias in its origin, and then it becomes systemic. But how

could this help the gut conditions?

I will wait for your replies.

Cheers,

Massimo
