" Stemcell Enhancement " ! Apparently with the same old blue-green algae stuff that people tried while it was called by other techno buzz names of the moment? So here it is - an MLM company " be your own boss " - " Profit making opportunity " selling a miracle " Phytoceutical " herb-thing which CAPITALIZES on the publicity surrounding stem-cell research, while having NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH STEM CELLS, except that maybe this crapola might somehow prop up and enhance stem cell function in some mysterious manner unknown to anyone - especially the manufacturer. After twenty years of watching " enterpreuners " stick it to CFSers under the guise of " Well, it might help. Who are YOU to say that we're unethical for providing hope when there is nothing harmful about our product? " .... I feel the same way I did about all the doctors who endlessly prescribe the same thing without telling anyone that it has never really helped anyone in all the years they've been selling it. It's wrong, and if they KNOW it's the same old stuff, they should be charged for larceny for each count of product they foisted on desperate people. I too, would like to hear results from anyone who's tried this wonder-whiz-bang. Considering the marketing strategy, it'd be a miracle if it really did anything. -
Guest guest
Hi Jan, ***** I'm responding to this product. Wrote in a few months ago about it, asking if any one else had but didn't get any replies. I saw that someone else had asked the same question back in February. I would love to hear that others were trying it and having good experiences. because it made such a big difference for me in energy, stamina, ability to do aerobic exercise again, cognitive skills, positive mood, etc. Only my immune system still seems not to work as well as it should but, I went and made some other changes to my supplement regimen about 1 1/2 month ago that I just stopped, as I now think I might have been messing up the methylation cycle due to my genetics. > > > > Is Anyone who suffered from CFIDS, using Stem Enhancement Products > from http://www.stemtechhealth.com. > > > > Some potentially remarkable results have been described. > > > > I would love to hear from anyone with might be supplementing with > such products, as I am planning to try this product and complement my > Whey supplementation. > > > Jan. *****Let me also address some of 's comments: First of all, I tried blue-green algae in the past, both the liquid raw frozen stuff and the capsules. I couldn't tolerate the capsules and the liquid stuff did nothing for me so, after 6 months, I stopped it. Stem Enhance is derived from AFA (blue-green algae) but is a concentrate. Several scientists spend over 5 years analyzing AFA to discover all its components in order to find out what properties were responsible for some of the rare, near miraculous healings that some people were reporting. This is a common assay technique performed on botanicals all the time in labs to discover what components of an herb are cytotoxic, etc. in the hope of finding patentable compounds to use as new medicines. Through this process of research, they discovered and l-selective ligand that binds to certain bone marrow cells causing them to release more stem cells into the blood stream. Through a clinical study they were able to show that 2 capsules (1 gram) produces an average of 30% increase in circulating stem cells within 30 minutes and that this elevation tends to last 4-6 hours. That's all the product claims to do. It does not cure or treat or prevent illness, BUT, if stem cells are the primary healing mechanism of the body -- as many prominent scientists now believe -- then by helping the body to heal itself, many people spontaneously recover from long-standing ailments. I was one of these lucky folks, which is why I am now promoting this company. I have spoken with the CSO of the company and he is very interested in doing studies with CFS. I have to get on this and try to interest a clinical researcher. I don't know how anyone else with CFS would respond. We are all different. We have different symptoms and different genetics. I also did a lot of stuff that helped me before this, so I was not bedridden at the time, not full of toxic metals, supporting GSH well, eating carefully without taking in things that caused allergies, stress reactions, and blood sugar swings. Finally, in response to 's negative comments about MLM, I am personally glad this product is sold through an MLM. It comes shipped to me each month -- important when I started it last May and could not drive for 4 months. Now that I feel well again I want to get off disability, and an MLM gives me the opportunity to help others feel great while I help myself return to earning money. I don't think I can handle working full-timen in the career I was involved in over 12 years ago, especially with very limited vision and another eye surgery scheduled in 2 months. For the first time in 12 years, I am imagining myself as a productive member of society -- and that feels great! It is hard, as most of you know, to have a very limited income and gargantuan medical expenses. Even if one doesn't make an MLM a full-time business, one can still do it part-time and get enough money coming in to pay for the product. So it gives everyone the chance to enjoy its benefits, regardless of how much disposable income is available. Moreove, for those of us with CFS, who never know when we might crash (and I've definitely had my experiences of feeling great for 3-4 months and then crashing), we can work at home when we feel able and rest when we need to. What other type of business gives one that freedom? Happy New Year to Everyone!!!! Well I'm sorry I jumped to conclusions and unfairly " disrespected " the product. Overly suspicious, I guess. -
Guest guest
> It's an awfully expensive way to get some protein. Actually, most if not all of the protein has been removed, as well as polysaccharides, according to Stem Tech CSO Christian Drapeau. People have used aglae as a source of protein. When I consulted Dr. Cousens, he had me usin chlorella as my main source of protein. I probably got rid of a lot of mercury but also developed a distaste for the thick green sludge and discontinued it as I proceeded to go downhill on a raw foods diet.
