Guest guest
Here is some info about the chemical comp. of Immunovir: Qualitative and Quantitative Composition Inosine pranobex is available in 500mg tablets (Isoprinosine® / Imunovir® / Delimmun®) as well as syrup containing 250mg of inosine pranobex per 5ml (Isoprinosine®) Inosine pranobex is the p-acetamidobenzoic acid salt of N,Ndimethylamino-2-propanol (DIP-PAcBA) and inosine in the beta polymorphic form, in a molar ratio of 3:1. Each moiety of the drug exhibits separate pharmacological properties. Inosine is a naturally occurring nucleoside found in the metabolic pathway of purines and in varying but small amounts in cells and tissue fluids. The PAcBA moiety is chemically related to p-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), a naturally occurring metabolite in human tissue. Chemical structure of inosine pranobex. Guest guest
what does this mean, exactly? you think the substitution is still worthwhile? I don't know, I ran out of Imunovir and tired of paying so much for supplements, so I went on the substitute not long ago, and am in my second week of having a cold right now didn't seem to get sick when I was on Imunovir but not sure how valid this is, maybe I just ran afoul of a really bad virus, who knows. > > > > I was just on the phone with Rivex, in a fruitless attempt to see if I > > could be reimbursed by my insurance for what I've spent on Imunovir. > > > > Then I asked about the isoprinosine/PABA substitute.
