Guest guest
Dear friends, I was prescribed Nexavir by Prof. De Meirleir althgouh all my PCR tests that he made me do at his clinic were negative (EBV, CMV, cPn, Mycoplasma, HHV6, etc...). I have heard that this medicine has different properties apart from being an anti-viral. Anybody knows what they are and what it does practically? I have also heard that Dr. Cheney mentions it in his latest DVD saying that it would also have some effects on our heart activity. Do you know what this could be? Thanks a lot for the useful informations you will give to me. Massimo
Guest guest
Hi Massimo This doesn't directly answer your question, but the infectious disease doc I see (Dr ph Brewer) appears to think there is no good test for HHV6, not even a PCR. In my limited experience, he seems to assume you have it and treats it anyway. Perhaps de Meirleir does this too....treats empirically rather than on the basis of blood test results alone? I tested negative for past HHV6 infection, but positive for EBV. I'm on a transfer factor that targets both (and doing much better). I assume the TF is giving me added immunity to the HHV6 if, in fact, I don't have it, and so I'm not doing any harm if this is the case. Perhaps someone else could comment on that last assumption? Guest guest
Well, no I don't think he supposed I have a HHV6 infection. It is very strange what your doctor thinks about positivity at various tests for HHV6. I did it three times with three different methods and they were all negative. But also, the Rnase is an immune response of the body against external infections and viruses, but these include also bacterial infections. Therefore, my activated but not clavaged Rnase levels could be also explained by a present bacteria in my body which has not been killed or even fought so far. Still I don't understand the use of Nexavir at all, and as it works in a similar way as Ampligen even if much more lightly, I am not going to take it anymore after I have seen so many damages made by Ampligen in some patients. Guest guest
Interesting. Can I ask which lab did the Rnase testing? And where did you see reports of damage in patients on Ampligen ? thanks Louella Massimo <maxupolo@...> wrote: Well, no I don't think he supposed I have a HHV6 infection.
