Who did Meadow ever save?

Let's look at this quote below. Who did Prof Meadow ever save? Yes, there

are parents who no doubt injure their children in order to get attention for

themselves, but they are child abusers, plain and simple. Has Prof Meadow's

long-history of false accusations of Munchausen's Syndrome by Proxy ever

saved ANY child? That is the question. Did he just make one mistake in thie

particular case or was he mistaken - intentionally or by accident - in all

of the over 100 cases in which he testifed? It is time for the media to stop

being apologists for people like this whose mistakes ruin lives - and time

for them to start actually doing their jobs of thoroughly investigating and

reporting fairly on these issues.

Just having a little spit,

Meryl

How the Meadow case has damaged child justice

By Booth

Among doctors it was seen as almost inconceivable that Prof Meadow should be

punished in this way. He was among the most distinguished paediatricians of

his day, the author of pioneering research into Munchausen Syndrome by

Proxy, which had saved the lives of many children.
