Guest guest
Hi everybody, I'm new to the forum. My husband & I are both nurses and we've been debating vaccinating our newborn. For now we are delaying vaccines until she is older and only selectively vaccinating, if at all. The more I read, the less I want to vaccinate. I'm not at all happy with our pediatrician. I believe that he really cares about the kids in his practice. He's been our pediatrician for 4 years and he spends a lot of time answering questions, assessing and generally making time for you but he is not attachment parent/questioning parent friendly. We're looking for a doc that can give us unbiased info or at least be open to the choices we make. No coincidence, last week I took care of a 10 week old in the ICU who was being ruled out for pertussis a week after recieving her first pertussis vaccine. She also had double pneumonia. Otherwise normal, healthy, breastfed infant. I'm glad we're waiting for now.
