Thank God your ok. Did Joe give you a heimlich, or did you work it out yourself?

Btw, in the future, if you are alone, you can give yourself the heimlich by

thrusting down on the corner of the counter or chair or some object you can push

you solar plexis (spelling?) on.

What about safety and efficacy. Shouldn't those things count toward ethical

ranking. Between thimerisol and Vioxx, Merck is one of the worst offenders. They

get points for morality even though they unleased these drugs on children and

adults knowing full well the dangers. Oh God, I think I may choke too!

Btw Sheri, choking is one of my greatest fears. I have saved two of my boys from

choking to death by using the heimlich. Neville once and Henry twice recently.

Liam could still breath barely and needed to push down the stuck food with a

piece of bread and water. Very frightening. I almost died of a heart attack each

time. Seriously.

I have also had some experience with my daughter choking. She used to have

terrible PICA and now it has been reduced to eating only plain white toilet

paper other than her foods. She was choking on a piece of plastic one time

and couldn't breathe. I know how scary that can be. I did have to give her

the heimlich 2x's. The other time, she must have swallowed to big a piece of
