Partially good - his retitling is good

But he obviously doesn't know, as so many doctors don't know, that MMR,

chicken pox and oral polio never had mercury in them. They are live

vaccines and don't have preservatives in them.

Sighhhhhhhhhhh

And then of course he has to say how importanat vaccines are.

I say he's a bit divided in his mind here.

No vaccine-autism link

The Ithaca Journal published an article: “Vaccines with Thimerosal Linked

to Autism,” on Oct. 26. The article discussed the fact that no link between

Thimerosal and autism has been established. Thimerosal, which contains

ethylmercury, is used as a preservative in some vaccines. It is no longer

used in such vaccines as measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), chicken pox or

polio vaccines due to the availability of other preservatives.

The Institute of Medicine has reviewed this issue extensively. It concluded

that, “Given the lack of direct evidence for a biological mechanism and the

fact that all well designed epidemiological studies provide evidence of no

association between Thimerosal and autism, the Committee recommends that

cost benefit assessments ... should not include autism as a potential risk.”

The Institute of Medicine is a non-profit organization chartered in 1970 as

a component of the National Academy of Sciences. It works outside of the

framework of government to insure that its assessments and guidance are

independent of influence. Parents should keep in mind that they are putting

their children at risk for potentially life threatening disease by not

getting their children vaccinated. I suggest that a more appropriate title

of the article would have been “Vaccine/Thimerosal Link to Autism Lacks

Proof.”
