Guest guest
Sheri -Thank you for sending that in- I don't know what was suggested - so if these are repeats my apologies - If the religion is a non-traditional religion - that you are using as your basis for not vaccinating, I would suggest contacting the ACLU on your behalf. If it's a traditional religion, I would personally contact aclj - http://www.aclj.org/ I would also write my congressman and senator and the govenor as to your rights as a parent being taken away by an activist judge who is disregarding your constitutional rights. I know that the 'judge' in my case in california is actually a commissioner - and if I didn't want him hearing it, I could request someone else - is this something you can do? Cheryl Here was Jacque's (<peacanpr@...>) intro from March Hello, everyone my name is and I am new member to this group. I have joined becuase not only do I have a lot of experiences with trying to keep my children from vaccinations, I also long for new information anyone else might have that could be helpful to me. I am 30 years old I have 2 children and another on the way. I am currently a laid off Erie County Employee. My goal while I am unemployed is to get organized, get information ready for my appeal, and go back to school to get my Master's Degree. My children are 11 and 2. The oldest was vaccinated due to my ignorance, and she has chronic muscle pain and asthma. But we keep her active and we eat as healthy as possible. Healthy eating keeps her asthma attacks down to about 2-3 onsets per year. My two year old has only had viral infections and colds. (NOthing we can do about that). I am trying to be as holistic as possible as a family right now and we try and substitute perscription drugs for homeopathic ones. I am currently appealing a family court judges decision to have my child vaccinated. She awarded me full custody, but due to her own biases about religion and germs. She did not grant me my contitutional right to practice my religion. Well she said that I can practice my religion, but that the consequences should not negatively affect my children and therefore, if I did not vaccinate her the Respondent (father) would be granted permission to do so himself. The Judges order came down on January 11, 2005 and by God's Mercy, the Respondent has not vaccinated her yet. Well that is basically my current situation in a nutshell. If anyone had any suggestions, links, a FREE ATTORNEY or any other advice feel freen to hop in. I have already spent about $8000.00 in attorney fees and now that I am laid off I can no longer afford not another red cent. Thanks in advance!
