Guest guest
Here is a response I got on another group. Sheri B. If the baby is nursing, the mother can take a probiotic of her choosing of the adult dose and it will go through her milk. Probiotics were first discovered in breastmilk, and many of the ones on the market today were first cultured from that source. If not, infant bifidus is a common choice. It is a liquid or powder you mix into formula and the correct dosing should be on the label. AFAIK, you can't overdose on probiotics, so I wouldn't worry about giving them extra if the child has received something like antibiotics or is suspected of major gut problems. --------------------------------- Find Great Deals on Holiday Gifts at
Guest guest
Sheri, Thanks for all the probiotic info. I am thinking about adding more probiotics, enzymes, CLO, vit.c, and colostrum to Kali's diet. More probiotics first, then CLO because I already have some of those. I will try this for 2 weeks and see if there is an improvement. She has also been eating GARLIC steak with her dad and pumpkin seeds not per the scd but, something I added for the worms. I hope it doesn't mess her up but, I hope it will help her start talking and feel better overall. I have already increased her probiotics within the last week and she is having severe temper tantrums and smacks her head on the floor now. This is when I need to give the activated charcoal. I can't let her behaviors get that bad. Esecially for school. Die-off is a scary thing sometimes. No more signs of yeast infection on tongue or down below:) And more consistent in articulation of the words she does know. She is choosing to use words more often now. Just a few, no, ok, sorry, I want..., and she put her boots on all byherself yesterday just by me putting them in front of her. They were velcro and she did that part too! I am so proud of her progress in the last week:). I needed to share. Thanks for everything! I owe you Sherri. We will keep you posted about K and we are looking forward to doing HP soon.
