Guest guest
Noni Juice alleged to help autistic boy..From Healthy Kids Magazine. Not independently verified This article was in Healthy Kids Magazine. " Autistic boy comes out of his shell thanks to Noni " . By ez. My son Evan was classified as autistic at age three. Initially I had been giving him Tahitian Noni Juice every now and then to help keep colds away. Then at the beginning of Evan's first-grade school year, one of the teacher aides who knew about Noni assumed that I was giving it to him more regularly. She asked the special education teacher to ask me if I had stopped giving him Noni because he had been acting up lately. I told her that I really hadn't been giving Noni to him on a regular basis but that I would go ahead and give it a try. As a result, Evan's concentration and focus started improving right away, and he was being mainstreamed more in his classes. He was not getting frustrated or anxious as much. There were actually occasions when my husband and I forgot to give the Noni to him and it was noticable in his behavior. We started giving Noni to Evan full-time at the end of October, and by January he had been fully mainstreamed into a regular first grade class. He has improved by leaps and bounds. Evan also started participating in the Cub Scouts which requires a lot of focus andattention. For an autistic child to be involved in such an organization is just phenominal. My son is a regular Cub Scout! He also just finished his first season of T-ball and received the Most Improved Player award from his coaches. This was a little boy who was hardly talking at all a short while ago. Before Evan was taking Tahitian Noni Juice, he would get frustrated easily and would cry and have temper tantrums. He was also very shy and would not talk. Now he doesn't get frustrated as easily, and will go up and talk to people. It is a complete change. People can't believe it when I tell them I have an autistic son. Before the Noni, you could tell that something was different about him. We would get looks from people in the store if he started to scream, but that does not happen anymore. He also interacts with his brother all the time. They are best friends now, but before taking Noni Evan wouldn't even play with his brother. In school, Evan did great in mainstream classes all through the second semester of first grade and all of second grade. Before, the school tried to mainstream him into the class reading time, but Evan could not sit down and be patient. He also used to bite himself and scream at times but now the biting has stopped. He has had the help of an aide in the classsroom, but the school psychologist recommended phasing the aide out completely because he is doing so well. It is noticeable when we forget to give Evan the Noni juice. He get's frustrated and we can tell. Now, he gets the Noni out of the fridge by himself every morning! Even his brother drinks it and says he likes the taste. We go through a lot of Tahitian Noni juice in our house! For a long time there were only a handful of people with whom Evan would make eye contact. He would hardly look his own mother in the eyes. We really started to notice a big difference in Evan after he had been taking Noni for only a few weeks. His one-on-one aide at school is the one who really noticed the difference. She called me up a few times and could tell when Evan had missed his Noni. It was that noticeable. We had tried everything including some things that we learned in a program about changing your wordin around to hopefully get him to say more than two or three word sentences. Now, he has a whole conversation with you! At school last year , Evan received a citizenship award for good behavior and interacting well with other kids. He's one of the most popular little boys in his school now. An autistic child is the most popular! He is just so personable and outgoing now. There was a time when he didn't even talk and now I can remember about a year ago when he asked me to call his grandma for him. i asked him why and he said that he just wanted to tell her that he loved her. When we realized that we had an autistic son and thought that he might always be that way, we went to an expensive program to learn how to raise and work with an autistic child. We tried to get him into programs at UCLA , but they weren't even taking names on the waiting list. All we had was a hope and a prayer. For me, noni is truly a gift from god because it is helping my son and he is my gift. I remember the days when Evan was no talking. My sister was very supportive and would joke that one day, once Evan started talking, I would tell him to be quiet and remember the days when he didn't talk at all! That day came after Evan had been taking Tahitian noni juice for four months. I was on the phone with my mom, and I told him to be quiet. I had to laugh to myself. Noni has done so much for our family. Evan is like any little kid now. I can't describe what a joy it is just to see him play with his brother. Before, there was just an invisible wall that we couldn't break through. When you have a disable childyou live a guarded life. Now he's just a normal little kid. It's all from Tahitian Noni Juice. People can't tell that he is autistic. My husband tells me not to say that he's autistic because it's just not there anymore " . ez..
