Adam received first helmet

Hi

Adam has had his first helmet for a week. The first

two days we gradually started with his time till he

was sleeping in it at night. So far so good except he

has had one ear infection after another which started

before the helmet back in December. For a couple of

nights he couldn't wear it due to his sickness. They

said not to put him in it at night so I didn't but

kept it on during the day. It's hard when your sick

your miserable anyways and the helmet wasn't helping

with his sleeping. We go back to adjust it next week.

We don't go back to the neurologist till the

beginning of April. I hope he sees results because he

just turned 9 months.

He seems to tilt more with his torticollis but I think

he just needs to get used to it. We have physical

therapy for that 3 times a week. We are waiting on a

tot collar so when he gets that he has to have his

helmet off to wear the collar. That should only be

for about an hour or so 3 times a day. Time will

tell.
