Guest guest
There is no proof your child even has hookworms. The health of the child is part of the picture. Not all children are susceptible to worms. Just because the dog has it doesn't mean your child will. If you are concerned you can have a stool sample tested for ova and parasites The drugs used to treat are very toxic. I haven't heard of NEEM treating it, but don't really know. I would find it first if your child even has them. Guest guest
http://www.renewlife.com/products/kidsproducts.htm Hello everyone, I'm wondering if anyoe has had experience with treating hookworms naturally. I have a 3 yr old who's beenplaying a lot outside with our dog, whom we just found out has hookworms. I went to thehealth food store and the guy told me that neem oil was the best thing for that. However, now that I'm reasearching online, I'm having trouble finding anything that talks about using neem oil to treat hookworms...especially in children. One of my friends suggested this whole regimen of walnuts, raw pumpikin seeds, garlic, etc.,etc. However, we are just about to leave on a 2 day trip and even if we did have time and were going to be home, realistically, it would take a miracle to get all of that in my son's stomach...on a regular and consistent basis. I don't want this to fester anymore inside of him, either. I don't want to use chemicals, but I want these gone fast!

Guest guest
I have only heard about using neem oil to repel ants; my best friend and his mum swear that ants can't stand the stuff and wont go near it, but I haven't needed to try it out since they told me... I have used herbal intestinal parasite treatments before but I can't imagine that getting a child to drink them would be an easy task! I used various combinations of walnut husk, wormwood and ugh cloves amongst other equally foul tasting herbs - pretty much as recomended on the Dr Hulda site. It works but it takes two doses a day for about a week and it's hard stuff to get down! My son used to love raw garlic and also garlic oil capsules, I'm not sure how effective it is on its own though or how much it would take... you need to be careful about feeding your son seeds, just because of his age and the possibility of choking. ~ Jowanna. > > Hello everyone, > I'm wondering if anyoe has had experience with treating hookworms naturally. > I have a 3 yr old who's beenplaying a lot outside with our dog, whom we just > found out has hookworms.
