My latest blood test results showed a couple of areas which could of

been better and Im wondering if others with CFS have the same things

showing on their blood tests and what they mean??? My doctor obviously

didnt think it was all that important as he didnt bother mentioning

about it..and it was only when i got home and looked at my tests, did i

realise some of my results are low.

- For the haemoglobin area.. my M.C.H.C. level is highlighted as being

low at 314 g/L (the test says normal is 315-355 so Im only just

abnormal). I dont get what that really means??

- My white blood cell count is 4.39

*(3.5 to 4.8 Low white blood cell count.. whereas 4.9 to 10.0 Ive read

at medical sites is normal).

My levels seem to have fallen since I had my last blood test one

year ago when I first relapsed, a year back it was 5.4 so completely

normal..my baophils, eosinophils and monocyte levels have all fallen

since then, along with my Lymphocytes which also fell..but only very

slightly with the Lymphocytes). I did a search for low blood cell

counts and CFS and couldnt find anything on that. My Basophils (.01),

Eosinophils (.11), Monocytes (.26), Lymphocytes (.84), Neutrophils

(2.17) are all in the normal ranges but all at the lower end of

it..hence giving me an all up low white blood cell count).

What would cause all these levels to fall?? Should I be at all

concerned about it???
