Hi everyone! I joined a couple of weeks ago to see if anyone had

luck with just waiting for the head to round out. Thanks to those

who responded! I went back to the neurosurgeon yesterday (prior

visit was 6mos ago). He says my now 16month old son's mild plagio

will round out with time, meaning by age 4! He didn't think a helmet

would do any good, so I am just going to let nature do its thing.

His head has improved so I'm fairly confident all will be well. The

neurosurgeon told me the most rapid growth where the skull is laying

down new bone is in the first two years and this is where you get the

most correction. But the skull sutures do not permanently fuse and

there is still plenty of growth to occur. After age two it just

levels off and is very slow. (Check out the head circumference chart

from your pediatrician) So there is hope! I'll let you know how

things progress. For now I'm going to stop obsessing, frankly I'm

getting tired of it! This is a great group and I wish I had joined a

year ago when I first noticed my son's head. Best of luck to all of

you. Thanks,
