hi martin,

are u taking all the things for " energy " --discussed here (dr sinatra

etc)- CoQ10 (+/- idebenone), Mg++, l-carnitine, +/- d-ribose, methyl

or hydroxy-B12 injections, Se++(cofactor); as per the IV discussion

above, modified Myers cocktail (with 10+ gms C, B12 IV, and IV

gluatathione push) as well as adding lipoceutical GSH...then again

if all the " speculation " on the channelopathy is true as the Gow

paper (patent) went into...

also all the colon " helps " posted here--colostrum/transfer factor,

esp lactoferrin (was surprised to see the medline paper on

lactoferrin and all it does in " piglets " -see above), after the

diarrhea illness one would think is esp impt? You might consider

holding any probiotic temporarily after the illness as possible

increased gut translocation? if it was viral that takes away the

brush border enzymes so usually they say to go on a " bland diet " ,

lots of liquids, and enzymes (like similase) with meals.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traveler's_diarrhea (or google)

gives a list of bugs...the koseri post above takes u to the

immunsupport article on the list the belgium clinics check for

anyway...that may give you some ideas on tests to consider?

others may have better ideas or you may check out a book like

" digestive wellness " by lipski. pangorn's book went as far as taking

oral IVIG, interesting concept.

has anybody found a lab that does this antibody test panel?

still waiting for some " brave heart " to try Poly-MVA.

BW, mike ( " Check with your doctor " ).

I might try a glutathione push. YOu cant get glutathione from GPs here

in the UK. They just do NOT treat ME/CFS. they just give pain killers

and sometimes B12 injections, although they always say that B12 has

never worked for ME/CFS as there was a trial once with it but it did

not help.

Private docs are all for all this stuff. This makes me wonder!! If you

know what I mean. What were you meaning about the Gow paper by the

way? What does he say in it?

If you can't get them to prescribe glutathione, can you order the

sublingual (non prescription) from a US internet site?

Also you can raise yours by taking precursors and by taking alpha

lipoic and selenium to support glutathione recyling.
