Guest guest
Hey, This candida thing is a concern for me. The immunopro I have has lactoferrin in it, so I assumed that would prevent the Candida from flourishing. Also, my mom is sending me some anticandida stuff from Canada: olive leaf, oil of oregano, tannalbit, and grapefruit extract. I'll alternate these, of course, rather than taking them all at once. Do you think it is wise, then, to continue with the whey while addressing candida (I'd hate to be feeding and killing it simultaneously)? Or should I alternate (kill candida for 2 weeks, build glutathione for 2 weeks, etc.)? I'd appreciate your take on this as I am loosely modeling my own regime after yours. My tentative plan is: Immunopro from now on (following a week off to give my brain a break) Low carb/moderate anti-fungal, high fiber diet (no wheat, no booze, no sugar, no sweet fruits, etc) (Maybe) Dry sauna, 3 x a week for approx 30 minutes each Candida and parasite cleanse for one month or more, starting soon 2-3 liver flushes in November/December 7 day supervised theraputic fasting in Thailand in Dec/Jan Follow that up with rebuilding intestinal walls (L-glutamine and maybe colostrum) Assess any improvements and go from there Any thoughts? Thanks much, Steve > Rasiing glutathione can be cause severe herx reactions - its upto each > individual as to what dosage to start on and then build up on. All this talk that > Whey feeds candida is a non starter for me - whey raises glutathione and > frees metals and at the same time yes candida flourishes as there is less metals. > > If you want to deal with candida - Lactoferrin / coconut oil / mauka worked > for me. > > > Regards > CS > > >

I then added cocnut oil slowly - and yes i had heart palpitations in the beginning!!! But your body soon becomes used to the cocnut oil - people seem to be giving up far to easily. IT took me 4 weeks to kill off my candida and then I added Manuka honey dail to kill off any remaining infections ie h pylori! I'd appreciate your take on this as I am loosely modeling my own regime after yours. My tentative plan is: *****My own regime has taken a new turn as i know exactly what i have to do to turn myself around but again this is going to take time. Then again 16 years of feeling unwell will take time. Im looking at 6 - 12 months to full recovery! Guest guest
Hi I think I have tried almost all the supplements along the way and then a pattern seemed to develop in my recovery . I have had CFS for 16 years and i knew I had to do something drastic to turn myself around - I read many posts but no one seemed to be getting better and know seemed to have a structured regime for getting well. I think all you need to do is to concentrate on getting ALL YOUR DETOX ORGANS WORKING and your body should balance and correct itself! THERE ARE NO SHORT CUTS AND YES GLUTATHIONE IS AT THE HEART OF MY RECOVERY. These are the steps that have helped me reverse almost all of my issues over the last 17 months ( Hopefully ill be feeling even weller for XMAS ) : 1)diet - no wheat or dairy restricts sugar for around 12 months - ***once your glutathione levels are up and you have got to point 5 reintroduce fruits. 2) Raising glutathione & thyroid - whey protein - ***It took me 12 months to raise my glutathione levels - at this point i felt no difference taking the whey. 3) Killing infections - lactoferrin / coconut oil / Manuka Honey ***After taking the whey for around 3 months ( enough to help detox any circulating metals ) ***- I took lactoferrin for 4 weeks to wipe out bacteria ***Then i took coconut oil for 4 weeks to wipe out yeast. ***Then i took Manuka honey for 4 weeks to wipe out any remaining gut bacteria ie h pylori 4) Improving adrenals - licorice / salt ***Take salt in water to correct OI intolerance and reverse potassium imbalance. ***Adding licorice in the form of a pure licoice sweet is a powerful way to correct low cortisol. 5) Improving digestion - probiotics / digestive enzyme with oxbile ***Start adding probiotics at this stage as alot of infections would have been killed off. ***Add Digestive enzyme with ox bile as your body has more than likely stopped produceing it as your liver is so overwhelmed by all the toxins. 6) Liver / Galbladder flush - Olive oil / grapefruit juice / turmeric / Apple juice ***Include turmeric in your foods for 4 weeks. ***Include apple juice for 4 weeks this will soften stagnant bile in your gallbladder ***Simply do this liver flush once a week in between detoxing heavy metals. As once you have started to detox metals some of it will have to be flushed out of the liver gallbladder to prevent it from re circulating. 7) Antioxidants - OPC's rich fruits ***include lots of OPC rich fruits. 8) Heavy Metals - Coriander herb /Chlorella/ Garlic ***do a metal cleanse once every few days and then liver flush - for around 3 months ***take chlorella 15 mins before eating - then add coriander to your food. ***take a little garlic with foods also 9) Kidney and Colon flush - parsley / lemon juice / magnesium / probiotcs & bowel friendly foods ***this is the KICKER - add parsley and lemon juice and magnesium to flush out any kidney stones - you will start to feel WELL!!!!!!! 10) Vits and Minerals - Vitamin A is very important to start balancing up your immune system and helping to fight off any remaining infections I am concentrating on the following areas over the next 6 months : 1)chelation 2)liver / gallbladder 3)kidney cleanse 4)Colon cleanse 5)Vitmain and Mins Any question let me know Regards CS

Guest guest
Yeah, that's what I don't understand. I cook with coconut oil, and dowse my cast iron in that oil after cleaning it. I've heard of the herx effect, but I don't think I've ever experienced it, or least don't know if I have. I also take the caplets of virgin coconut oil, pop the liquid out and swallow. I don't have any significant effect. I was told to try it to boost immunity by a fellow Hashimoto member. Just trying to pin down a candida effect, other than fatigue, because, hello, I've had that for 15 yrs. -W bob niederman <bobn1955@...> wrote: On 10/5/06, bhammanuk@... <bhammanuk@...> wrote: > > > ***If you have a tub of coconut oil - try a tiny amount and tell me what > response you get! Guest guest
Hey CS, Thanks for taking the time to detail your strategy for recovery. It seems to me that you have had to exercise admirable willpower in order to get better. Good to hear it's paying off. cheers, Steve > Hi > > I think I have tried almost all the supplements along the way and then a > pattern seemed to develop in my recovery .
