Guest guest
Hi, all. Regular readers will know that I usually don't recommend pharmaceuticals. However, I want to note that I have recently heard from two PWCs who had major dysbiosis problems in their guts, and also are not able to tolerate most drugs because of detox system problems. Xifaxan is an antibiotic that is essentially not absorbed from the gut into the blood, so it does not require detox. It is FDA-approved for treating " traveler's diarrhea, " and is known to knock out E. coli bacteria. However, it is also known to be broad spectrum. Both PWCs reported significant improvements from taking Xifaxan. So I think this is something that might be useful to others, and as the TV ads say, " Ask your doctor about.... " (:-) Rich
