Guest guest
Hello, Anybody in the group have experiences with mini-seizures which my friend refers to in his brief message to me included below today? " I've been having mini-seizures lately. Did I tell you? Where I can't speak, or my mind goes blank and I can't think? My doctor is talking about putting me on dopamine. Have you heard anything in this area? " Thanks, Du Pre Poetry website: http://www.angelfire.com/poetry/soareagle/index.html " By words the mind is winged. Guest guest
Tell your friend there are several books on dealing with seizures without drugs. Dopamine IS NOT a seizre drug, by the way. BLaylock's Exicitotoxins is excellent Reiter's book is also good s has an Epilepsy Workbook A good diet is essential as is emotional balance. mjh " The Basil Book " _http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/_ (http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/) _mini seizures _ (/message/104999;_ylc=X3oDMTJxY3N\ 1cDdvBF9TAzk3MzU5NzE1BGdycElkAzkxNTc0BGdycHNwSWQDMTYwMDA2MT Y0NQRtc2dJZAMxMDQ5OTkEc2VjA2Rtc2cEc2xrA3Ztc2cEc3RpbWUDMTE1NjA0NjkzMg--) Posted by: " Du Pre " _isaiah40@... _ (mailto:isaiah40@...?Subject=Re: mini%20seizures) _myalgicnameus _ (myalgicnameus) Sat Aug 19, 2006 4:42 pm (PST) Hello, Anybody in the group have experiences with mini-seizures which my friend refers to in his brief message to me included below today? Guest guest
I have a friend who has mold illness who, along with her boyfriend had seizures for a long time in which they would wake up coughing up blood. A neighbor also had them. It turned out to be caused by hidden mold in their building. They moved out. Their neighbor also moved. Just a few weeks after that he died, apparently during one of these seizures (he had bloody foam on his mouth when he was found, dead.) Samples of his tissues were taken during an autopsy and they were tested for various toxins. A toxicologist found that he had very high levels of trichothecene (T-2 toxin - which is found in Fusarium and some other indoor molds) mycotoxins in his lung tissue. So be aware that mold, in this case, trichothecene mycotoxins (which cause symptoms that have been described as indistinguishable from CFS by several toxicologists) may be a cause of some CFS-like symptoms, such as seizures, joint pain, and extreme levels of chronic fatigue.
