I've watched the Deth DVD three times and am reviewing some

articles of his. Still AWESOME.

Walsh--Pfeiffer Institute--I watched his DVD. He seemed very

sincere but so much NOT the picture of health you had to

wonder...also, unlike Deth, who has wonderful charts and references

excellent studies, both his own and others, Walsh obliquely referenced

studies but really, in such a vague way that I did not trust them. His

material replicated the other researchers except in focussing on

metallothionen (my spelling is wrong here, but anyway...), which is

low in autistic kids, he says, and is raised through giving all the

amino acids, zinc, and other typical cofactors. He said MT and

glutathione most vigorously bind Hg (mercury). But I wanted to see

more research and not much was cited; no chemical pathways such as

Deth explains in such extraordinary detail; I also didn't like the

references to " thousands of autistic children we've treated " etc.

I felt overall, that they had adapted what is probably a generally

very good nutriceutical approach to illness, to autism.

I watched a bit of the father-son team, Mark and Geier, but I

think most of what they say can be gleaned from written research (on

the mercury/autism connection).

My favorite presenters thus far:

Deth, tops.

Boyd Haley, terrific.

And, Jill , great.

I didn't find Walsh that interesting but I will ask why MT is not

focussed on much by the other researchers.

Other presentations from this particular Autism One conference are

more clinical, I haven't viewed and may not have time, or may skim.

Doctors, parents etc.

Onward and upward to the DVD's of Yasko's February conference...it

seems to me Rich may have attended that? I can't remember. Anyway, I

hope to be spellbound :).
