Guest guest
As informed as we may feel we are, there is no way that 4 years concludes the data on the efficacy of a treatment for CFS/FM. Some may feel they can just zip through treatments or others' results, using or discarding them once and for all. But *many* times we have found A) We did not actually get all the data in the 1st place CFS is constantly morphing, with different stages, the later treatment of which is ALL NEW and experiemntal...the disease having only been studied in depth for a short time, in medicine years. Even the " in-depth " is quite scattered, results not being concentrated in any one place. C) The synergy of treatments is also ever-evolving, and patients often re-visit treatment later, or in new ways than by the same method 1st introduced. D) The research is growing, which has sometimes added data (such as subsets), pointing toward treatment " thought " to have been evaluated. We on this list, mostly have no idea what actual CFS Specialists are using in their practice, new or old...or the results. Except for " quick/fix/cure " treatments, I don't believe there is much that has been 100% thoroughly investigated or concluded for our disease. Statements onlist that so and so is old news does not make it so, either. Proven many times. We've still missed alot, IMO...I don't want " 4 year old " treatments discussed eliminated here.
