Hi Sue,

Were you bed or housebound and made these wonderful improvements? I'd love to

know and congrats!

I feel great today!! I truly think the exercise is helping clear my

Hi Edy,

Thank you!

I was almost(forced myself to get in the car and drive or run an errand daily)

completely housebound the last 3 years until a few months ago. I am telling

you(and it seems some people from this group are really fighting the Yasko idea)

it is because of the Yasko program and running the Detoxigenomic testing that

has helped me the most. I was bedbound 18 years ago and then it seem to change

to where I was in and out of bed for several years. I have had dozens of docs

give me wrong info and treatments for years that only made me worse. Yasko is

the ONLY doctor that is on the right track for me. She is not perfect(no one is)

.. . . but by far the best I have ever had.

I know there are several people who keep challenging the Yasko program here .

.. . and that is fine, but I am not here to defend the program. I am here to

support you and point you in the right direction that is working for me and

many many others. Please if you are not sure read the " Positive " responses on

her www.autismanswer.com/forum.

Please educate yourselves . . with her work and the feedback from the parents

in the group.I know I am the first to take on her program from this group and

one of the first adults to work her full program and to post on her forum. You

need to realize I have done this on my own and it was very very difficult. So .

.. . please understand I don't have the energy to defend the program.

I wish everyone could follow this program and become better. I know many can

not afford the tests, supplements, etc. But, neither can I. I am doing it anyway

and figure someday it will work out when I am well enough to work.

You can follow my improvement on the Yasko forum . . .. I need to stay

positively focused and find some support for myself. I feel so worn out here at

times.

Best wishes to all,

Hi, Sue.

That's great news! I appreciate your letting us all know about how

you're doing. I hope you won't be discouraged to share your

progress with the group because of skepticism. I think that after

being very ill for a long time, it's just not easy for people to

risk having hope for improvement, especially after so many things

have not paid off for them. You have certainly put a lot of time,

effort and money into getting well, and I'm so glad that things are

going in the right direction for you.

Hi Rich,

Thank you for all your support, wisdom, and brilliant knowledge. I sometimes

feel so overwhelmed with all the questions and skepticism.I know that is what it

takes for some people to learn, but I don't have all the answers yet and feel

pressured to because I am progressing so well.

I really wish they would do more of their own research instead of trying to

rely on others that are a bit ahead of them but not truly healed yet . . . I am

still fragile at this point. The anxiety is still running high even though I

want to help. It is just too much at times.

I hope they understand and can look a bit away from this website and head over

to the Yasko site for more explanation.

I need a break . . . . I will be off camping for the rest of the week.

My best,

Hi, Sue.

I can certainly understand. You've really been a trooper. I hope

you get really refreshed on the camping trip.

I've written to Dr. Amy and asked if I can relay questions to her

from the group, so if she agrees, maybe that will take some of the

load off you.

By the way, at this point I know of 17 PWCs who have ordered Amy

Yasko's SNP panel, most of whom are on this list. We should be

getting some good statistics on how well this treatment program

works for CFS as time goes by, if people report in on how they are

doing.

Put a search in for " Supplements to Avoid "

Hi, Janet.

O.K., thanks, I've got it now. That's a pretty long list. I

suspect that which ones are a problem for a given individual will

depend on the SNPs in their detox enzymes. This list may include

everything that has been a problem for someone, regardless of their

particular SNPs, so it may not specifically hold for everyone, but

it is a way to be on the safe side.

HI Rich,

So when I look at this list, because I do have the P450 2C9 genetic mutation

in my detox profile, how do I view the supplements. ie: Butterbur??? etc. Also

the list does not include garlic, St. JOhn's wort or Yucca that are on my list

of things to avoid on the detoxi profile. As we all do more of these tests, we

are going to need a comprehensive list of herbs to be careful of. Yasko uses

alot of herbs in her program.

Thank you for your help,

Janet

If you search " liver supplements " you get a pretty short list of known liver

sensitivities.
