Another non-ammonia product, often sold at the same places that sell Herbatint, is Naturcolor. Whole Foods carries it. I've used both, and am pretty happy with the way it covers the hard white grays at my temples. (And I go fire red.) But I prefer the Naturcolor when I can get it. Guest guest
Hey Jill, try checking out the Herbatint. You might like it. Good Luck. jill1313 <jenbooks13@...> wrote: I am about to switch to a natural haircolor, too. I switched to all natural makeup--very nice stuff--from realpurity. Guest guest
Also the conditioner they provide in the box is very good, too. I think the vanity is hard wired! It's the exception and not the rule for people to not care about the way they look. And we're clean, too. My mother says I'm the cleanest sick person she's ever known. But doesn't it feel better to be in a clean and nice environment even if you feel like sh---. And off topic just for kicks, do you all know where that saying originated? It was when manure was transported by sea and below decks would stink and rot from water so the bags were stamped S.H.I.T. Ship High In Transit. rosebud1082001 <ganesh1008@...> wrote: I've been using Herbatint permanent hair color for a long time. It also has no scent. The " commercial " hair colors had me gagging. Then you can mix in the other " C " or whatever. I don't remember if Herbatint tells you that or if my hairdresser told me. And yes, it does cover gray. My hair is totally white in spots and it covers it. I do a Froggle search and buy it from whoever is cheapest. Here we are, almost dead, and still vain :-). Guest guest
Sorry, beg to differ. I've tried every 'natural' permanent colour on the market and they don't cover my grey and I don't have much of it! Rosie Absolutely! Guest guest
Darn. So sorry Rosie. You must have some very " right to life " gray ones. I have a million of them and the herbatint covers every single one. Wish it worked for you, too!! Rosie <rosiecox@...> wrote: Sorry, beg to differ. Guest guest
Hi janet, You can get it at Whole Foods, but phone first and see if the local store has it, I guess the La Jolla one would probably have it. If not, call Naturecolor @ 800-462-0666, say you are a hair stylist and open an account, Joanee Janet s wrote: >HI Joanee, > > Can you help me here?? I also do my hair at home.
