Guest guest
Yes has tort. He was accepted into our local Infants and Toddlers Program at 4 months. He couldn't turn his head past midpoint to the left and would hyperextend it the way. He wasn't responding to PT and his PT with I & A suggested we see a woman at Kennedy Kreiger in Baltimore who specializes in Craniosacral work. At that point at 7 months he could not lift his head up when on his tummy the muscles were so tight. He also had issues associated with hip dysplasia at birth which he wore a pavlik harness for. He tended to tilt his whole body when sitting on one hip. At the end of his first session with the craniosacral therapist he lifted his head straight up. I only see her every two weeks and the osteopath once a month. has made so much progress his tort is virtually resolved except for a teeny little bit of weakness left. He is walking/running everywhere now. He just got his PT appt. stretched to once a month (instead of weekly) and the craniosacral is about to go monthly also. I highly recommend the craniosacral/osteopath work for anyone's child with tort. What a difference!
