Guest guest
I may not be quite up to date, but last time I looked that was NOT dr. Cheney's own site, although there is an affiliation. Adrienne Site for recipe for Recup/Gookinaid (same thing) This is Dr. Cheney's site. It's got to cost less to make it ourselves. http://www.dfwcfids.org/healing/gokhmbrw.htm#homebrew Sue This list is intended for patients to share personal experiences with each other, not to give medical advice. If you are interested in any treatment discussed here, please consult your doctor.
Guest guest
It's not the same thing though. Homebrew/Gookinaid are only designed to increase blood volume. Recup, while it should also accomplish that, is (in theory) designed to fix ion channelopathy (in this model, the cause of CFS/FM). Trina sb2boys <sb2boys@...> wrote: This is Dr. Cheney's site. Just radically better.
Guest guest
Recuperation and Gookinaide are not the same thing. If you compare the ingredients in this " home " recipe at <http://www.dfwcfids.org/healing/gokhmbrw.htm#homebrew> http://www.dfwcfids.org/healing/gokhmbrw.htm#homebrew to the ingredients in Recuperation they are obviously different. In particular sodium chloride is not sodium citrate. Mark London's overview of why Recuperation MIGHT work makes this abundantly clear. http://web.mit.edu/london/www/RRR.htm I assume it is possible to make Recuperation at home for less money, but the recipe at that website is not the way to make it. I understand that Dr. Enlander has been giving some patients a product made at a pharmacy in NYC that is the same. a Carnes
Guest guest
Is it possible for someone who is not one of Dr. Enlander's patients to purchase this product? I am using Recup now but would prefer not to have to continue ordering from Spain. thanks, Helen >> >Recuperation and Gookinaide are not the same thing.
