Guest guest
Good luck with your appointment- I think another UK Mom can fill you in on some funding for the helmet although don't quote me on that. Have heard such wonderful things about DR Blecher so I am sure you will be pleased. I wish the best of luck to you and Zac- the 11th isn't too far off so please let us know how the appointment goes! beck Mom to doc grad

Guest guest
My son's ears are asymmetrical also. Feel free to look at his pictures. His name is Dane. He has super sensitive skin and eczema also. He is even allergic to disposable diapers! He has been in the DOC Band since 2/14 and he hasn't had skin issues other than sweating for the first 10 days. I just kept taking off the band to dry it and his head off. After 10 days his body temperature adjusted. We are thrilled with the progress he has received so far with the band. Guest guest
Hi : I'm glad to hear the dreaded casting is done & over with! That's the hard part. For his last helmet, they actually put him to sleep???? I don't think I've heard that before. Please let us know when his band is in and how he adjusts to it. The drives are very stressful but you'll be happy you did it in the end .
