Guest guest
My family physician's husband, an MD, is cross trained in NAET and a few other user friendly modalities. He is seeing good success with patients that have NAET therapy. mjh " The Basil Book " _http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/_ (http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/) _Re: NAET allergy treatments... _ (http://us.lrd./_ylc=X3oDMTJxOWFoaHBsBF9TAzk3MzU5NzE1BGdycElkAzkxNTc0BG\ dycHNwSWQDMTYwMDA2MTY0NQRtc2dJZAMxMDA0NjcE c2VjA2Rtc2cEc2xrA3Ztc2cEc3RpbWUDMTE1MTcxMDc0MA--;_ylg=1/SIG=123j04clk/**http:/ //group//message/100467) Posted by: " Gena Castanon " _gcastanon68@... _ (mailto:gcastanon68@...?Subject= Re:%20NAET%20allergy%20treatments...) _gcastanon68 _ (gcastanon68) Fri Jun 30, 2006 4:15 pm (PST) Hey, I appreciate the suggestion NAET but feel it is probably a rip off and a little too New Age for me. Guest guest
Does anyone have any idea how these NAET treatments are supposed to work? I've never been able to find any plausible explanation, and have read some very critical comments on the practice, but usually from practioners with different treatments... Just wondering? Guest guest
HI Dan, I did some NAET treatments for awhile. They cost me $50.00 a pop. You have to avoid the substance they treat for the next 24 hours. I don''t think they helped me. Guest guest
I don't know that thescience of naet has been studied, but the theory has to do with cells remembering and forgetting. You know how allergies/sensitivities accelerate? Grow worse with repeated exposure? NAET supposedly reverses that process. The cells are taught to forget to react to the provocation. Through electrical means. Sorry I don't understand more than that. My doc is always trying new things. Thanks to him, I can think again. Adrienne Re: NAET allergy treatments... Guest guest
Here's the NEAT Homepage: http://www.naet.com/subscribers/index.html It seems to use Accupuncture, Kinesiology, Chiropractic, and allopathic medicine as its base. This is in line with what I have personally experienced - I was having some accupuncture treatments a little while back and I noticed that it really helped me with some allergic reactions I was having to Ajinomoto's chemical flavoring (MSG, Disodium Inosinate, Disodium Guyinlate that I had accidentally eaten at the time. peace paul > > > > > Dear list, > > > > > > As I have mentioned on this list previously, I have > > > been working on refining a protocol document for > > > CFS. Guest guest
Thanks to all for your replies and info. Makes a little more sense -- it seems similar to so many things we try -- it may work for some and not for others............. d. > > > > > > > Dear list, > > > > > > > > As I have mentioned on this list previously, I have > > > > been working on refining a protocol document for > > > > CFS. Guest guest
NAMBUDRIPAD'S Re: Re: NAET allergy treatments... I tthink the acronym stands for Nampudrics Allergy Elimination Technique. The name may be spelled wrong but it is close. Gail J anet s wrote: > > HI Dan, > > I did some NAET treatments for awhile. They cost me $50.00 a pop. Guest guest
I am thinking about searching out a NAET practitioner and giving this a go. I have been suffering from allergies all my life and they just seem to be getting worse as the years go on. I really need to do something. This last episode with Ajinomoto's Ros Dee product - which contains MSG, Disodium Inosinate, and Disodium Guanylate - really threw me for a doozy. (Thanks so much to the wonderful people at Ajinomoto for trying to poison me to death with your wonderful chemical flavor enhancers. And don't you dare try to tell me it's natural - my ass.) Besides that I am allergic to eggs, emulsifiers, sulfites, dust mites, mold, pollen, detergents, soaps, and probably a host of other things I am not aware of. How many people out there on this list have actually tried this with positive results? peace, paul > > > > > > > Dear list, > > > > > > > > As I have mentioned on this list previously, I have > > > > been working on refining a protocol document for > > > > CFS. Guest guest
It diminished my reactivity to wheat. It really seems to work better for some than for others. I hope it helps you. I hope you find a good practitioner. Part of the technique includes diagnosing just what you may be allergic to. Adrienne ----- Original Message ----- From: Doyon Re: NAET allergy treatments...
