Guest guest
Hi Wanted to write my experience with Liposomal glutathione, and see if anyone else experience similar things. I have taken reduced glutathione in the past from Solgar and Solaray and especially liked the Now brand. I have felt a slight improvement in energy and mood from time to time. I have also tried whey, and NAC previously but only for a short while. Did try the Liposomal glutathione lately from Essential nutraceuticals. The effects Ive had so far is: Increased tiredness(yawning all the time) Mild headaches (which I usually dont have) The headache get worse with excercise. crackling sound in ears when chewing, swallowing(swollen lymph?) Burning, aching sensation in upper spine. Anyone else feeling these effects on Essential oral glutathione? And did you previously feel better on reduced oral glutathione? Why the contradictory effects? My dosage has been 1/3 to 1 teaspoon Per
Guest guest
Hi Per You asked about experiences with Liposomal glutathione. My daughter (23 years, ME/CFS since 2001) is taking Lipoceutical Glutathione which she added to her treatment plan in September 2005. She takes 1½ - 2 teaspoons (600 - 800 mg) pr. day. As often discussed here it is always difficult to say which effect comes from which part of the treatment, and other factors are influencing the treatment as well, but this is what she has experienced: In December 2005 her test result showed a very much increased elastase activity level, 10 times higher than maximum of normal range. NK cell acitivy was low. Maybe due to the other parts of her treatment plan* she did not have any increased symptoms, and carried on with the Lipoceutical Glutathione. Then in a new test done March 2006 elastase activity was for the first time within normal range. Also the NK cell activity was normal (but NK cell count was below normal range, as it has often been when NK cell activity has been normal). Unfortunately, at her latest test on 30th May NK cell activity was again below normal range, and so was NK cell count. All through this time, from September 2005 until now, she has been feeling better than earlier in her treatment. She can study and go out with friends and make plans ahead usually without having to cancel. Unfortunately last week she had what seems like an " attack " of sudden decrease in low blood pressure (nausea, feeling cold and then very fatigued). She had many of those " attacks " earlier on in 2004 and 2005, and this symptom and the low NK cell activity seem to indicate that the disease process is still strong despite the treatment. On the other hand there are times when we run out of things for some days and maybe that is enough to set her back. ne *Her treatment plan: Pr. day: around 800 mg lipoceutical glutathione, 1000 mg vitamin C and a multivitamin. 3-4 litres of water, for the digestive system probiotics, digestive enzymes, glutathione tablets, at night 5-htp, Klonopin, Magnesium. Pr. week: 10 - 20 mg. B12 injections. One week of Cipro if necessary. In february 2006 she added Caprylic acid in the form of Caprystatin. > Wanted to write my experience with Liposomal glutathione, and see if anyone else experience similar things. > > Did try the Liposomal glutathione lately from Essential nutraceuticals.
