Guest guest
Yea, I think they said she doesn't have children. Maybe there are some problems/bitter feelings there and they are surfacing in this unreasonable reaction to b/f. > > > > > > There is a summary of the show at > > > > > > http://www.drphil.com/shows/show/593/ > > > > > > If you click on the <javascript:%20slideshow('2796');> " It can > > still be > > > natural in the bathroom or in your car, " says . Guest guest
Maybe doctor phil will pick up her problems and offer her some free sessions to get over her issue with something so natural and necessary. It's a matter of health and well being for both mother and child. How could anyone intelligently argue with that, much less a woman? Guest guest
Yeah, She couldn't get any type of intelligent response as to why she's against NIP besides that she feels its 'unattractive'... And no, she doesn't have children. Alison, extended breastfeeding, co-sleeping, baby-wearing, non-vaccinating sahm to 2 wonderful girls: Calista (2-13-99) and Ursula (12-22-02) and pregnant for a boy! Guest guest
That was the most frustrating show to watch! I just *loved* the one woman's analogy comparing a mother bfing in public to a waitress with low rise jeans bending over in front of you during a meal and having her butt fall out of her pants. Someone's nasty butt crack is a far cry from my feeding my baby. People turned breasts into sexual objects, Mother Nature and babies know what they are really for. I wish they would have had a better representative for bfing because that lady wasn't doing much debating. Lynette > > > In a message dated 10/7/2005 6:48:33 P.M. Guest guest
No kidding! I was yelling at the tv about how I thought that her hair was extremely unflattering and I found it very unattractive, should she not be allowed in public!!???!!?? I have to say that I was impressed that they picked a woman who seemed intelligent to be on the pro nip side. She wasn't very combative, but she was much easier to like than the moron they picked for the other side! The pro NIP mom actually had some intelligent things to say, she wasn't just emotional, I felt that she made some good points and that people would be more receptive to her. -- Sara Proud Mama to Colin 12/07/99 Jack 8/07/
Guest guest
> I wish they would have had a better representative for bfing because > that lady wasn't doing much debating. > > Lynette > I agree, but at least she came back a little toward the end and said something about if more women bfed in public that would help to normalize it so everyone wouldn't be so shocked. Oh well, any one of us on this group could have stuck it to that *itch a lot better than she did!!!!
