Immunity Building Question?

I'm at the beginning of the journey to better health through nutrition. We try

to eat mostly

organic and I'm trying to cut down on meats and the like. However, I've never

been a big

vitamin/supplement person.

What one or two things, nutrition-wise, could I do that will have the greatest

impact on my

health?

I hear Vitamin C mentioned a lot but have no idea what " form " to take it in

(ascorbic acid,

sodium ascorbate, etc). I've also heard that fish oils are key. And the list

goes on.

So what would you recommend for a newbie who is trying to build immunity. BTW,

I have a

22 month old who has had no vaccinations since 6 months.
