Guest guest
Greetings! My name is Stephani and I live on Lookout Mountain, in Georgia. We have 6 children 1 girl, 5 boys and another little one due in December. My first 2 dc had all of the 'routine' vaccs right on schedule and my 3rd got started, until my 1st son was diagnosed with Aspergers and while doing research on that discovered the truth about all of those wonderful vaccs. The rest have not been vacced much to the horror of my ped (but she supports my decision) and the hospital staffs (you know they hate that you leave the hospital without that 1st hep shot). My 21 mo old developed an enlarge heart last June, he was never sick just started having difficulty breathing, of course his cardiologist was disappointed that we rejected his idea of having him vacced for flu and RSV. We did pull in the welcome mat and other than my dh going to work and grocery shopping nobody went anywhere, we just didn't want to take the risk. I he was also still breastfeeding ~ at least 90% of his nutrition was from me, he has only started eating food in the last couple of months. In September we moved to a former horse farm and was considering vaccing for Tetanus, but thanks to the information provided by Sheri ~ we will not. While I do feel assured in my decision to not vacc, I still in the back of my mind I do kind of worry about the possibility of one of the dc contracting Tetanus. We practice attached parenting (AP, as per Dr Sears), homeschool, our family also uses the Feingold Diet, and avoid all corn product as some of our dc have issues with it, and try the best we can to eat natural organic foods.
