Saul, a lot of people including Dr ,are advising against that if you

have metal in your mouth. I would love to use it but I am afraid because my

mouth is full of fillings.

Dear Christel,

I don't have any mercury fillings, so I don't face that problem.

I googled sodium perborate, which would be a borate already containing the oxygen molecules so we wouldn't have to add the hydrogen peroxide, and among other hits, I found a NexTag one with laundry detergents containing sodium perborate, which is apparently used as a bleaching agent--makes sense, that's the effect the oxygen would have.

Then I thought, why not just jump in and try to teach myself chemistry? So I returned to the search results page and bingo, the next link was to

http://www.organic-chemistry.org/

oboy. Think I have my work cut out for me. Say, think there is a chemistry for dummies book? Bet there is. Ok, headed there...
