Guest guest
I know there are many Christians on this forum and I'm sure many of you pray on your own for help from the Lord. You can bet that I've prayed more than I've ever done in my life since being afflicted with this. It certainly has been a huge test of faith for me... to keep believing and praying while going through with this. My sister made a suggestion that I never even thought about, which is to form a prayer group so that at any given hour of the day (except when we are all asleep), we have someone praying, representing us as a group. Whether you can set aside 10 minutes, 30... or an hour, it sure can't hurt to have many people come together to pray for the same thing. I'm sure you've already asked your loved ones to pray for you, right? Many people practice some form of dicipline for their faith - for example, sacrificing certain things during lint. If people already do such things, why don't we also dedicate our time to some dicipline in prayer? What do you think? For those that are interested, please let me know. Without getting too technical about this, what I'm thinking is that we can set up a prayer schedule where we assign ourselves a time slot. We can pray for ourselves, each other, for other sufferers, for more public education and exposure to this horrible affliction, and the list goes on... Thanks. -kixx

Guest guest
this seems like a good idea to me. i try to pray daily as i'm in a twelve step recovery group for alcoholism. and of course i've been praying a lot more since all this started. now i am going to think of you all when i pray, and say prayers for you as well. i'm so glad i found this board. i hope we find a solution. i can't believe after 10 years of sobriety god's plan is to turn me into mite chow. i have to get over this. > > Count me in. > > Sent via BlackBerry by AT & T > > Want to start a prayer group > > > I know there are many Christians on this forum and I'm sure many of you pray on your own for help from the Lord. Guest guest
I'm not a good schedule guy either Joan but I pray for you and Neal to find the strength to keep hitting these guys and for you to beat them. I hope you were able to use my cedarcide suggestions. I wish you could get Neal to try a low dose of the ESP New Hope II bath. It really helps and when in the bath does not smell so strong. bob > > I am not real good with schedules, but I do pray for our group every time I pray. Guest guest
The esp bath stuff is AWESOME! i put it in my kids little tub and squeeze in there...I put epsom salt in too. I LOVE the smell of it! I even add some to some cocunut oil and rub it all over my body...feels and smell great! And it washed out of my white pillow case. i had an itchy neck and rubbed it straight on my neck...relief. Guess I layed down too soon...lol. So, I dont think it stains. I even put some in my kids bath if they felt itchy and they soak in it. LOVE,LOVE, LOVE the ESP NEW HOPE BATH....thanks, Bobby! chasity> >> > I am not real good with schedules, but I do pray for our group every time I pray. Guest guest
I always throw a handful of salt in the bath mix too Chasity. I often add a little cayenne or a squirt of lemon concentrate. You do get so you really like the smell, it didn't thrill me at first. Glad the kids and you are doing better! Are they doing better at school? I think florscent lights still bother me a little. Have you tried using organic mayo with a little extra sea salt and vinegar on your body? I have recently and think it loosen a lot of stuff that was stuck in my hair follicles up and out. I left it on about an hour, then massaged my whole body, adding a little water to keep it moist.I then showered and scrubed well. I only left it on my face about 10 minutes. Almost no crawlies or wispies now, except for new hits. If your havily infested I would only do small areas at a time. The pruge I had really kind of hurt, stung and itched. Coconut oil on afterwards! b > > > > > > I am not real good with schedules, but I do pray for our group every > time I pray. Guest guest
Hi , sorry to take so long to answer but my cpu went loco this am so am using Neal's and for some reason it will not let me reply to messages so came to webpage to answer. I have not been able to get Neal to use the New Hope bath products mainly because he has Rheumatoid Arthritis and cannot get in or out of bathtub without help. He uses shower only with mostly Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap which he loves. I did use the esp balm on his body 2-3 times but he hates the smell and won't use it very often. We have been washing clothing with RP in wash cycle with good results and he only has an occasional crawlie now. He had blood work last week and everything was in range so I think it must be safe to use the way we are using it. We are careful not to inhale the powder. I really appreciate your suggestions and ideas for dealing with the problem and I really do believe in the power of prayer and pray for all of us when I pray. We are going back to see his dermatologist tomorrow and see what he has to say, but Neal is feeling much better and I am very thankful for that. Thanks again for all your input and trials with different oils etc. Joan > > > > I am not real good with schedules, but I do pray for our group every time I pray.
