Guest guest
Hi, Myrtle, it isn't one of those popcorn ceilings that were nothing but vermiculite (absorbent material used in potting soil to hold water) in paint. It is just where the painters swirled their brush in the ceiling paint all over the house. 2,500 square feet of, as Bessie, I think it was, said, cathedrals and trays. Thank God for your tip, Rita. I know folks are using several kinds of devices to puff the Roach Prufe. What do you use, and do you recommend it? How bout the rest of you? Rita Re: If I could only buy one product, it would be Roach Prufe Are you talking about those 1970's cottage cheese ceilings? I thinkyou can wet it and scrape it off. That stuff would be a haven formites, what with all the nooks and crannies. I would scrape if offand then re-paint with semi or high gloss paint.myrtle> >> > > > Hi S,> > > > When applying products to carpeting, don't forget to wipe down > walls and> > even ceilings every few days. Guest guest
I just got my roach prufe and am ready to join the "blue" club but I dont have a puffer yet--is there anything I can do until I get one. I've been searching for my cheese shaker though I could use that to spread some around but cant find. Also, do I put it all over me--sit around for how long?? Guest guest
You can pick up a Roach Away brand boric acid by Enoz at walmart for $3. The container looks like a fat 50's diner's style ketchup bottle with a cone tip. You squeeze the bottle and out comes a cloud of powder. You can use up the one in the bottle and just refill it w/ RP. That's what I do. I do have a pump duster as well but I also do plastic bottle dusting. > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi S, > > > > > > > > When applying products to carpeting, don't forget to wipe down > > > walls and > > > > even ceilings every few days. Guest guest
You can wash out a ketchup bottle or any other plastic squeeze bottle that has a small opening. That will make a pretty good puffer. You can leave the powder on for as long as you like. We wash the old powder off at night and put new powder on after we shower. We have been doing this for 60 days and have had no problems and only have seen good results. In the environment you will find what we call "hot spots" so be ready to put the powder down quickly when you run into these areas where the "things" have run to. Guest guest
prolly half a can...i use a scoop from a sun oxygen cleaner and just scoop some in. It works better that the other rose duster(huge, green, antique). The other one puts out too much at time so it works good for DE. This small one does more of a fine puffin'. Hope this helps someone.> > > >> > > > > > > > Hi S,> > > > > > > > When applying products to carpeting, don't forget to wipe down > > > walls and> > > > even ceilings every few days. Guest guest
a cheap salt and pepper shaker works good for sprinking it around until you get your puffer. I bought a cheap plastic set at dollar general for 1 dollar. they have clear plastic bottoms and a black top and a white top. > > > >> > > > > > > > Hi S,> > > > > > > > When applying products to carpeting, don't forget to wipe down > > > walls and> > > > even ceilings every few days.
