Guest guest
Has anyone here tried long-term use of the anti-fungal drug Sporanox? I have a friend who's doing very well on it. My doctor approved it but the a-hole insurance company is refusing to pay for it. I'm probably going to go ahead and pay the $250 a week for it, which is a huge strain on my budget. It's the only drug on Kolb's protocol and I know it's helping a lot of people. I also really need to get on some kind of anxiety medication. The strongest thing my doc will give me is Ativan, which helps marginally, but not at all like Xanax. To make matters worse, I dropped my bottle in a puddle of Windex and the few pills that survived are now blue. I'm going to have to stop drinking (good thing) when I do the Sporanox. Guest guest
Ian - Managing the fear and anxiety are HUGE issues. I still struggle with it after a year and a half and really good recovery. I just experienced and saw so many nightmares I can't simply shake them and go on. I still worry about re-infestation because I really don'y know WHAT the nature of the infestation is...and where it might be lurking in this house. I have ventured into areas that I haven't been in for over a year without a problem, but I still dot trust it. Guest guest
I've occasionaly put Tinactin in my ears and on my head; it helps. I think there are some very bad fungi going around. I have a friend who's having miraculous results with Sporanox, so we'll see when I get it.
