Guest guest
Hi Pamela. I know I have several crafts that interest me. I want to do it all. But for right now, I'm sticking to m & p soaps and candlemaking.

I thought I had ruined several shirts with wax dripped on them that didn't seem to want to come out. I even spilled some wax from melting candle on carpet. it hardened and I was having a heck of a time trying to get it up. Someone told me to put paper towels on carpet and heat with an iron. It worked. for clothes, I put paper towels under fabric and over it and iron. It takes a while and numerous paper towels to absorb wax, but eventually, you can get it all, or most of it anyhow. Guest guest
No No not what I meant..Was trying to make the point that that is the perception.. I think she was great. Guest guest
Eddie ya know she has done a lot for HCV awareness for Heppers..People stereo type her because she is a blond bombshell type of movie star.. But she is laughing all the way to the bank..She is very aware of her affect on people and uses it to her advantage.. So therefore she makes a wonderful spokes person..Where she is people notice..She is not dumb or a drug addict.. Kathy -- Pamela She was on Entertainment Tonight a few minutes ago and mentioned Hep-C.....Good for her. It's kind of discouraging that when you mention Hep-C you automatically are thought to be a drug user.....I can think of a lot worst things. When I meet someone and find out they have it the last thing I want to know is how they got it. I enjoy (if you can call it that) talking to people and finding out how they are handling it. I also am all ears to see it there is something I can do that they have learned from it. Hope everyone is doing great tonight "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body...but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, WOW! Guest guest
When did you speak with them? Do you know where they were evacuating to? It took people hours to go 90 miles, over 8 hours to drive 150 miles before the hurricane. Hope they left the city completely, but i'm afraid they didn't. Hospitals are in trouble now. Guest guest
Been wondering the same thing. Good to hear that she was being moved, and they are probably safe. It may be awhile until they get electric and/or internet. Just hope she checks in with us when she can. Anyone hearing anything, please pass the info on to us!! Guest guest
It's hard to comprehend. They are planning to enroll the sheltered (evacuated ) children in school here. They will not be going home for a very long time, if ever.

Guest guest
Thank God Pam is fine! I'm in West Monroe, LA w/all my family...everyone! My parents/myself, both brothers and one of my sisters homes are all underwater if there. Doug, is Mike w/her? Please tell her I'm fine and elated she's safe, I was scared for her. God was w/us. Kathie a.k.a Grassberry > Pamela called me this morning, she's with relatives in Houston thank God. She stayed in a hotel on the 9th floor the first couple of days, she said it was horrible, the windows kept blowing out. She couldn't get down becaue there was no power for the elevators. Then yesterday she had an 8 hour ambulance ride to Houston, so she's pretty worn out. She said no one can even imagine the devastation. She was only able to take her dog and bird, they had to leave the poor kitty behind. She herself is worrried about her friend Kathy on this list, her name online is " grassberry " . She said her area was totally wiped out. If anyone hears any info about her, tell me so I can pass it along. Anyway, she wanted me to tell everyone she's ok, Doug > >

Remind us what it is we're supposed to do. 2. Keep Pamela from laughing too much. 3. Call the paramedics. From California where senior citizen sex is like going to the gym: you know why you're there, but it hardly seems woth the effort. Guest guest
I hope you feel much better very SOON! Lori Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Pamela Hi Everyone, Just a short note because I have no strength. I have been very sick the last 4 weeks with a respitory infection. Since I have no muscles to cough, I couldn't get anything to move.. I was in the hospital for 1 day but decided I could get better care at home from my aids. After a fight I finally got oxygen and could sleep a few hours a night. I am still fighting to get a Cough Assist machine and it should be here sometime this week. I am feeling a little better but am still too weak to even feed myself. I hope I get some strength soon. I will try to keep you informed but it will depend on my strength. I hope I can depend on your thoughts and prayers. Love, Pamela

Guest guest
Dear Friends, May all of you have a glorious Easter. We wish you sunshine and flowers this Spring. I, Pamela, am feeling much better but still very weak. I am sure I am " on the mend " . Please forgive me for not answering all your emails individually, but I am not quite up to that. I want to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers. You are all such wonderful friends. Mike and I are lucky to have you. Re: Pamela You will certainly be in my thoughts, Pamela. Guest guest
Thank you Doug for the update, I was wondering if she got thru the storms. I'd rather deal w/ the -40 wind chill and 15 feet of snow than get " washed away " in a hurricane!  huggs  Jodi & Juni Pamela Pamela wanted me to tell you guys she's safe from the latest hurricane, though she has no power and lots of damage. So for those who were wondering she's safe (as is Carla) Doug
Guest guest
I read your last post about how you are still suffering. I wanted to ask if you have been using the ESP products this whole time? thanks Holly
Guest guest
I'm kind of out of money and forced to just get the things I consider most vital. I've been using the lotion bar pieces on my face, hands, pubes at night, and more where they concentrate to the front of my arm pits and under breasts (it's ok, guys, I know you have these things in embarassing places too). I am about to order another lotion bar. I absolutely love it, but found the rest of the products too expensive to maintain. I've been mixing my own purgative oil with Doo Gro Anti-Itch Growth Oil from the local beauty store. It has a couple of things in it I prefer it didn't have, but it already has some of the ingredients I need, then I beef it up with my essential oils, oregano, clove; lemongrass, a touch of catnip, eucalyptus, cedarwood, geranium (did you know that makes ticks RUN? haven't tested it with my critters yet, hmm, need to do), and cajeput as repellents; grapeseed oil, which pulls things out of the skin; lemon concentrate; cider vinegar; and of course the olive oil/castor oil based Doo Gro oil. I mix a bottle of these essential oils and set it aside as my base, that is, as my concentrate. Then I add other ingredients depending on how and where I want to use the end result. For example, I may add Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Lanolin, Vitamin E, Almond Oil, or whatever else I have on hand. I avoid petrolatum and mineral oil. I may dump in something I hadn't thought of and see how my skin takes it. I admit that I am too early in my experiments to know which I can ditch, or add. The concentrate itself is not an emollient mixture. I did not create it for that purpose. Its purpose is to get them up and out of my skin. As you know, I did my Pink Oil spa for 3 hours every weekend for a decade or more. That or shortening, either one, cut off the air supply to the critters and they started coming up in waves. I did it for 3 hours because that was about how long I could manage it physically. Now I am using this oil instead, and it seems to bring them up faster. Heck, even grapeseed oil with nothing else in it works faster than the Pink Oil, but I discovered I needed other ingredients to stop the activity and still other ingredients to stop the biting. So I started fiddling around. I already had a suitcase full of essential oils, all of which smelled fresh as I have kept them stored in a dark cool place. That is my main test focus now: what makes my skin feel better. That is, what keeps the activity down or seems to pull them out of me? Trish, if you read this, I am going to order more product from you, at least the lotion bar, but I need to talk with you about the one other product that will give the most bang for my limited buck. I really am clueless as to what that is, but you know my situation, and I know you can recommend something that will be the best thing for me. Also, if I am mixing something that turns into something toxic, will you give me a heads up? I'm not selling this stuff, just using what I have on hand to get by in a tight $ situation.
