That will take you to a page that has a very nice, neat comparision chart that can help you weigh the pros and cons of each. A pro for the DOCband is that they specialize in the band and treating infants with plagio. Their orthos are specially trained to do only that. A pro for the STARband is that they usually cost significantly less and have a far wider network of orthos who can make them. However, their orthos are not specially trained and often make other orthotic devices besides the band. If you go DOCband you can probably count on the ortho being experienced with bands and babies. If you go STARband you will want to interview your ortho like crazy to ensure that he/she has TONS of experience with the STARband and has treated lots and lots of babies. Have them show you before/after pictures and check to see if he/she has references that you can check. My Neurologist suggested Starband or DOC Band (Cranial Tech). Does anyone know which one is better? Or are they about the same?
