Guest guest
What kinds of problems is this causing? had a floppy epiglottis (technically, a hypermobile epiglottis) which caused eating problems for his first four months. We could hardly get a bottle down without coughing and sputtering, and his breathing would stop and his heart rate would slow. He was on an apnea monitor for it for six months. He finally outgrew it at four months, about the same time he learned to breastfeed (I had been pumping all that time). Have you seen an Occupational Therapist about this? Have they done a barium swallow study yet? I'm assuming the problems you're seeing are breathing/eating related?
