Guest guest
The things love my eyes and nostrils. I've been snorting salt water everyday to control the nose infestation, but how can I get them out of my eyes and keep them from coming back? I tried the boric acid wash (1 tsp to 1 cup water) - it got the things out for one day but it made my eyes ache and affected my vision. I even rub iodine around my eyes and on my lashes, but they remain.
Guest guest
As I speak to you now with my head too close to the monitor, they are increasing in numbers. I reach for the 20 mule team borax and rub it into my eyebrow area (dry). The attack stops immediately. My dry face will not absorb much of the borax(acid) triggered by moisture but the moist critters will be fried on the spot. Thanks Rita...WTG.. > > The things love my eyes and nostrils. Guest guest
For a few months they used to attack my eyes, but they haven't done that for over 6 months now. Maybe I got their numbers down to a manageable level. -requireshelp From: wtgwilliamthegreat <gibson-w@...>bird mites Sent: Saturday, January 10, 2009 5:24:16 PMSubject: Re: How Do You Get "Things" Out of Eyes? Guest guest
Rohto V Ice eye drops (any drugstore) will help to clear your eyes out. It burns my eyes when it goes in. I usually rub it around the whole eye socket and eye brows. Very helpful and safe. I often slipped a little in my ears when they were bad. For my nose I use a neti pot with sea salt in it once or twice a day. I put a drop of Lugols (iodine) in it every other day. A qtip with H202 on it helps the interior too. Vicks nasal spray also helps. I use vaseline around my eyes, ears and nose at bedtime to help keep them out, some used vicks. Like M said, try to get your scalp under control, it will help you get you face under control. I have been using lemon or lime concentrate 50% to water on my scalp before I shower. I leave it on about 10 minutes and it does burn a little. Has been helping alot. Hope my hair doesn't fall out...lol bob > > The things love my eyes and nostrils. Then I wear one of those satin eye masks that covers the eyes and blocks out light. Don't press too hard when rubbing across the eyelashes, it will burn. This has kept them away from my eyes for the past week. Laurel
