What I do on bad nights "full moons" is take 91% alcohol and put 6 to 9 menthol crystals in a bottle and shake it up good. Then I spray my self before bed and use as a spot treatment for the night. The spray kills them and the menthol smell lingers so they leave you alone long enough for you to fall a sleep.
