No, I didn't call Trisha. I made the mistake of asking them to send

it the cheapest way, and I have the feeling they sent it parcel post

(which is not the cheapest way -- the flat rate box is the cheapest

way to send parcels over 2lbs between Hawaii and the mainland, and

it's faster than parcel post). Anyway, it's probably my own fault the

shipment hasn't come yet. I would like to find skin care products

that don't cost so much. Thanks for pointing me to

Myrtle, I notice it takes forEVER to get stuff from the West Coast

(I'm in GA).

Trish is in Florida. Not only does it have to go across the continent

(slow by any means, even overnight isn't), then it has to get off the

mainland.

I am now making my own stuff. I'm using the scent to guide me on

proportions. I am good with that so I think I can get pretty

close.Still have to get a couplemore ingredients but had cedarwood,

peppermint, orange oil, oregano,clove, and can't find my neem but

react badly to it anyhow.

BTW did y'all know that some folks who live in India put clove buds

in their gums when they have a cavity or tooth removed? It prevents

infection!

KJ, clove is really good for gas too...lol

Please be careful about trying to replicate Trish's balm.

She has a patent on it, has worked hard to develop it, and she is so

good to all of us. I think it would be a negative to see a recipe

even at all close to her product posted on here.

Hi Bob -- I respectfully disagree with your opinion on us making our

own balm. I think it would be wrong to try to replicate Trisha's balm

to make money, but as DIYers, and many of us being broke, I don't

think we would be doing her wrong. My understanding is that she uses

expensive ingredients that she buys in bulk (so we would not be able

to easily replicate that), and the proportions of her ingredients

would be difficult to figure out. Some of us more broke people need

less costly alternatives, and I see no harm in us trying to develop a

DIY balm recipe.

I think you make a valid point. The essential oils/botanicals Trish

uses have been used forever, and in various combinations. So the

idea of mixing various ones together were not all new when Trish

developed her own formula.

I think it was Lou who mixed up olive oil, clove oil, and a third

Hi Bessie,

The 3rd ingredient in Lou's mix is oregano oil. I'm using her formula

now (I hope she didn't patent it) and smell like an italian salad. I

amped up the oregano oil, just for fun.

The esp package arrived yesterday via parcel post. At just over 3

weeks, that isn't too bad. There is a glitch getting mail from

Florida to Maui, because in the past I've had to wait up to two weeks

for first class mail to get here from Florida.

Thanks for the Opaline Solutions link. I see that they've listed

" bird mites " as one of the common applications for dry oxy.

I took another lime bath Sunday evening. It didn't make me itch so

much this time, like the first lime bath I took on Thanksgiving. I

guess the first bath must have cooked and curdled my buggage.

The oil mixture I made, using Lou's recipe, is almond oil (as the

inert carrier oil), oregano oil, and clove oil. I wore that the past

two days because I had no esp balm. Last night I applied an esp soap

masque, then rinsed it off this morning. The esp soap makes my skin

feel like there's ground up glass in it. I consider that a positive

sign, that stuff is being pulled up from the deeper layer of skin.

For me, the sensation of ground up glass in my skin is 100 times

better than feeling the crawling bugs. Anyway, after I rinse off the

soap and apply the oil or balm, my skin calms down and feels fairly

normal, except for some itchy patches.

Nothing out of the ordinary, no weird stuff coming out of my skin. I

prefer the esp balm, but Lou's oil combo is a good substitute for when

the balm runs out.

Cool. Do you have a simple explanation (something that I might

understand) of biofilm, in relation to our bugs-in-skin problem? I

just read the wikipedia definition, and I don't get it. Say huh?

As I understand only, which isn't saying much, but biofilm....

What they are finding just recently in the last couple of years is that bacteria, mold, fungus, etc. are capable of generating what is called a biofilm. That biofilm is up for debate as to exactly what it is as it seems to be a combination of things. I believe it to be a protective environment for pretty much anything parasitic in or on the human body. It encompasses other bacteria, fungi, etc. and together they work to keep the entire community intact and functioning.

Thanks for that explanation Frito. Maybe that's what those little

black specks that people find on their bedsheets in the morning are.

I recently watched this news video from the ESP Botanicals website,

where this afflicted lady and her husband got a microscope and

examined the stuff coming out of her skin, and found that the little

black specks were housing live bugs. The news video is located on the

called " body bugs " .

I think this is a good news clip for people in this group because the

lady's symptoms are similar to those of many people here.

Anyway, do you think the black specks are biofilm? Your explanation

of biofilm reminds me of what I've read about cancer too, about cancer

Lots of photos of what people are finding on and under their skin.

The DSP cream I use is the original one by Divine Skin Products. A

few years ago I read the information that Dr Drottar put out for

designing his cream. It was obvious, that this was inside informaton

on what was really going on. I also thought the active ingredient was

the enzyme,which has been the most effective remedy so far. I tryed

to order more cream but the site www.dsp-cream.com reads that he or

she is redesigning. It says that they will be back in November. Since

this is December, I was wondering if you, Mel or anyone knew what was

happening. Thanks

Hi Myrtle,

When the DSP cream (Divine Products) first came out (free samples)

and people from the Morgellons-Research-Disease (MDR) forum started

using it, there was mixed reactions. I and others found it worked

well to stop and clear up facial eruptions, as did the Enzymes but

would also cause the Critters to attack the eyes. Don't do deep

cleaning (house) with this on your face.I believe some of the

additives were deterrents and did exactly that (detoured to the

eyes). There are many DSP creams now and I would ask a person

recommending them just what the results were. " Bodybugs " is a /

group site like this one. A women named Yellow Canary posted Photos

called " My Experience " that showed the " black speck " to be a

microscopic mite or tick.
