I feel so prepared for 's appt. with the specialist on Mon. A big thanks to everyone here! I'm sure my question has been discussed many times on this board in the past, sorry about that. But, I need some clarification between the Doc Band and the Star Band. There is a location about 2 hours from me where we could go for the Doc Band. I read the post from a representative of cranial tech. about the training their physical therapists receive. It sounded very impressive. If does get a band, I had resigned myself to making the 2 hour for appts. Then, today I decided to check and see if I could get the Star Band any closer to home. I went to the orthomerica website and it was sort of confusing, at least to me. If I understand correctly I'm supposed to check with physical therapy groups in my area to see if they handle the Star Band. There are no official distributors. Is this correct, or I'm I totally misunderstanding something? If I am correct, I was wondering if those physical therapists would have as much experience with the bands.
