Guest guest
's Daily Message MondayOctober 02, 2006HOW MUCH CAN I LOSE BY...? I have been flooded with emails from people who are in a panic and a rush about losing weight the next 3 months! Dear What am I going to do? I have so many social engagements coming up, and I can`t face everyone at the weight I am right now. I told all my relatives and friends back home that I was on program and that they would see a thinner me this year. And you know, I was on program for a while, and I was doing great, but I`ve had a really stressful year. I know you think I'm making excuses, and maybe I am. My life is just too busy, and I know it`s my own fault and no one else`s. So my question to you is how much can I lose by December 25? I`ll do anything to lose about 30 or more pounds. That way, people will see that I`ve lost weight, and they`ll be proud of me! This is the time of the year when people get desperate to lose weight quickly and unsafely. In a few weeks, the TV air waves will be filled with commercials talking fast and quick weight loss methods, and so many gullible people will spend their hard earned money to give them a try. Don`t you be one of these people! If you told your family and relatives that you`ve been doing super, come clean now, and don`t wait for them to open the door and see otherwise! If you eat less than 500 calories a day, if you exercise 2-3 hours a day, if you keep pushing yourself hard, you can lose a lot of weight by Christmas Day, BUT… you may be spending that day in the hospital, suffering from exhaustion and malnutrition! No matter what month it is, 3500 calories equals 1 pound. That formula never changes! In order to burn a lot of calories, you have to exercise every day you eat, and that would be 7! I just want you to stay focused. Follow your FoodMover, schedule in your workouts, and chill out and enjoy your life! You can lose 15, 18, or around 20 pounds in the next 3 months, and boy, wouldn`t you feel dandy? It`s Monday, so plan and stand tall, and never be in a rush to lose weight!
