Guest guest
Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. My husband got me a beautiful small cloisonne frog, as in "eat a raw frog first thing every morning and nothing worse will happen to you all day." For me, the raw frog is my thyroid Rx and breakfast. He figured I could keep my meds and vitamins in there, to remind me. I took a deliberate walk this morning, 1 mile to one of the light rail stations. It was rainy, which I don't mind, and windy, which I do, but I was determined. According to mapquest, it's about 1.15 miles. Plus, I wore my new pedometer and wrist weights. As of 20 minutes ago, I have 6700 steps for today and I didn't even put it on until 11 or so, when I got dressed. So, I think I did good. My foot began acting up as I was getting ready to go; this is pretty common, I swear my body is saying, "you're gonna do WHAT....WHEN?" My husband took me out to a German restaurant, and I got my whole week's allotment of cheese in one meal, but it was so good. I have plans for breakfast every day this week, usually yogurt, oatmeal, banana, tea and a large glass of water. It's easier to manage the food with the structure of work. More later, thanks for the birthday wishes. Eileen
