Guest guest
> Poor Sue!! << sniff sniff >> feel better soon!! At least I slept better last night - 6 hours straight, and that was after a half hour nap earlier. This morning the ears aren't as painful but still clogged, and I still have the sore throat, but my sinuses seem a bit better, maybe because it's raining outside tamping down the pollen plus I kept the AC on all night. If all goes well I should attempt a video workout later this morning, even if it's only a quickie 1-mile one. As I move around I'll see how dizzy I get first. Can't exactly do side steps and kicks when staggering to remain upright. LOL Food: Well, yesterday I drank a lot of tea and water and ate very little during the day because of the throat, but gee, I somehow managed to get down 2 slices of the pizza the guys ordered for dinner. It was one of those pizzas I would run away form under normal circumstances - really cheesy and so greasy the crust was a soggy mess - but it was the first food all day that I was able to swallow without pain. Usually after I eat dairy the arthritis in my hips bothers me so much I'm awake all night, turning from side to side to get comfortable, yet last night I slept so great. Maybe my body was just so exhausted it didn't feel any pain? Who know, I just appreciated the rest! Today's food plans: B: oatmeal and unsweetened applesauce with a shake of cinnamon L: tomato soup, PB & J sandwich on ww bread D: today is our regular homemade pizza day. Ed said we can skip it this week if I'm too sick to make it, but I think I'll be able to toss the flour and stuff in the bread machine and whip them up with no problems. So, the usual ww crust, plenty of veggie toppings, soy cheese on mine and the boys will have dairy cheese on theirs. If my throat is okay, we'll have salad while these pies are cooking. Snacks: I have plenty of produce around, and I'll have at least my daily banana; maybe I'll steam up some baby carrots and dip them in the last of the garlic hummus. I'll probably have a mug or 2 of chicken broth as well as hot tea during the day. Weight - back to 270.5 this morning (blame the salty broth and pizza), the same weight I started the month of September at. I'm determined to do better in October. Gee whiz Sue - it hardly seems fair that you were sick for the majority of the month of Feb (( stomping foot, and I am not the one this happened to )) Hoping you have a better March!
