We were shakin` off the fat at "Club Slimmons." Everyone had such a blast, and I just may turn Slimmons into "Club Slimmons" once a month! I believe someone`s true personality comes out when they`re dancing! I want to thank everyone at Atomic Ballroom and all my staff for making last night so special. I can`t speak for everybody, but my feet were achin` when I got home! My little flat feet were on fire from a whole lot of dancing`. I actually filled 2 blue water bottles with ice and stuck my feet on them while I sat and enjoyed. Last night in my sleep, I kept going through all the dance steps. Oh, , why can`t you turn off your mind? Today is the last day of our Weekend Workout, and a very full day, too. And at 9:00, we`re having what we call a Round Robin Cardio Class. That means all my teachers will each teach a song. That way, everyone will see the style of all my teachers. And the ladies picked out the songs that they wanted to teach to. This should be quite a class! Right after we sweat, Melinda will conduct a Stretch and Meditation class. There`s no one better to teach this class than Melinda! She`s one of the most peaceful gals I know! We will then take a break and have some lunch. During lunch, we will set up the studio for my radio show, "Lighten Up." Gosh, I`ve never had such a big audience! I`d say about 60-70 people! I will make my phone calls as usual, but I`ll also be interviewing some of our retreat guests who have plenty to share. So from noon-3:00, I will do my radio show, and from 3:00-4:00 we will conclude our weekend and everyone will be on their merry way back home to keep going strong. I do hope you did join us the last few days and focus in on your exercise and your motivational skills. Hey, it takes a lot of motivation to exercise daily, wouldn`t you say? OK - I did it darnit - all of it - every minute for 24 minutes (level 1 is longer than I thought).... and since these folks make a plan to exercise daily, I got my calendar out (again) and put my curves, walking and now my video on there so I have *something* scheduled each day of the week!! 7 days a week!! I put them in through the end of the year - my plan and goal is if I do this for 3-6 weeks it will become a habit (LOL).... who's off to figure something nice to do for me now (maybe a bubble bath before breakfast) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
